800 Watt Amalgam

As the latest product in the atg UV range, the new line of 800 Watt UV reactors (UVLW and UVLX) has been extensively developed using the latest in amalgam lamp technology.  The new design will have similar efficiencies to current amalgam technologies, but will allow installation in a smaller footprint with fewer components.

New atg UV Technology 800 Watt Loe Pressure Amalgam UV System

The 800 Watt amalgam lamp technology will be incorporated into closed vessel 316L Stainless Steel UV reactors and will be targeted for use in a wide range of applications including drinking water, wastewater, reuse/recycled water, and industrial process water.  US EPA UVDGM Validation for multiple applications is scheduled for early 2011.

The 800 Watt comes in two versions, the UVLX for drinking water and process water applications and the UVLW for waste water and water re-use applications.  As a cutting edge technology, the 800 Watt range will allow operators throughout the world to focus on energy savings (going green and reducing carbon footprint) without impacting the quality of water treatment.

Additionally, the new atg UV 800 Watt amalgam systems will use the fewest number of lamps and other consumable components in the industry.  The combination of minimal components, along with the closed vessel UV reactor design will allow atg UV to provide the smallest available footprint for amalgam systems in the world.
