ATEX Systems

The high standards required by the offshore industry often require the need for ATEX systems for use in hazardous area zones 1 and 2.  These ATEX systems require engineering far beyond the specification of normal Ultraviolet disinfection systems.  atg UV Technology, have engineered and designed a new range of ATEX duty/standby packaged products for the disinfection of drinking water for use in harsh environments and hazardous zones 1 and 2 such as offshore platforms and ocean going shipping vessels.

atg UV ATEX products comprise of high specification ExN Ultraviolet chambers built from 316 stainless steel, arranged in duty/standby configurations with double fully integrated ExD SPECTRA control systems to ensure the our ATEX systems are a true duty/standby package.  This ensures full automatic control of the disinfection process at all times.

The leading atg UV SPECTRA control systems are availble as ExD or ExP.  ExE Junction Boxes designed especially for use within hazardous environments and intrinsically safe instrumentation are also included as standard.
