atg UV Technology pioneers in the design of Ultraviolet treatment systems have been chosen to provide six Ultraviolet disinfection chambers to safe guard London's latest landmark, the newly opened White City Shopping Centre, Europes largest in-town shopping and leisure destination located in the heart of London.

The atg UV systems will treat condensate cooling water, a prime source of bacteriological growth in air conditioning applications throughout the centre, and will protect an estimated 20 million patrons of White City a year against harmful and infectious micro-organisms such as legionella. atg's Ultraviolet treatment is ideally suited for this application, as UV technology is an effective barrier against viruses and bacteria, including chemically resistent pathogenic micro-organisms such as Cryptosporidium. Additionally atg's UV systems do not require the use of any chemicals for disinfection, avoiding the expense of complex monitoring systems, making UV an automatic system than cannot be over dosed. 

The six atg UV systems, feature an automatic wiper to prevent the build-up of deposits on the quartz tube, and UV monitoring to ensure the systems consistently run at an optimum level. Additionally a state-of-the-art SPECTRA control system provides White City operators with data on flow rate, UV dose and intensity whilst the SPECTRA's integrated data logger provides performance data which can be easily downloaded to a PC or Laptop for review.
