atg UV Invited to 10 Downing Street.



atg UV director Chris Purslow has met with PM Gordon Brown for a second time to report on how the vast opportunities available in the water industry will become a key area of growth for the UK exports industry. 

Meeting with a select group of business leaders at number 10 Downing Street, atg UV were invited to meet with the Prime Minister and Secretary of State for Business Lord Mandelson following a productive breakfast meeting with Minister for Business, Mervin Davies who invited atg UV to join discussions in light of their recent business performance: Director of the Year 2007, Passport to Export Winners 2008 and most recently a Queens Award for International trade - The highest honour for business available to a UK company.

After a short reception, Director Chris Purslow and other delegates discussed a range of proposals to support international growth, including strengthening commitments to manufacturers and product development to attract investment from new markets such as ballast water treatment and drinking water disinfection.
