QUEENS AWARD 2009  

atg UV Technology's fundamental commitment to development and innovation has been the driving force behind their success for over three decades.  This approach, alongside their passion for social corporate responsibility has lead to the equivalent of a business 'knighthood', seeing atg UV Technology join Britain's business elite after being honoured with a Queen's Award for Enterprise in International Trade, the UK's most prestigious honour for international business performance.

DIRECTOR OF THE YEAR 2009   

Chris Purslow, Managing Director of atg UV Technology, market leaders in the design and production of Ultraviolet Treatment systems, beat off stiff competition to be named the IOD Manchester Director of the Year 2009 award winner, at a high profile ceremony presented by North West Tonight's Ranvir Singh held at the landmark Manchester Hilton Hotel.

Chris Purslow, managing director of atg UV Technology - and a former winner of the Institute of Directors' International Business Director of the Year - said he was delighted that his company had been chosen, and that the award was a credit to the hard work and dedication of the atg UV team.

UKTI PASSPORT TO EXPORT AWARD 2007 

atg UV Technology, beat off stiff competition to be named the UK Trade and Investment's Northwest Passport to Export Award 2007 winner, winning both the Greater Manchester and overall Northwest regional categories. 

In just four years, the atg UV  developed its international business trade, which now represents almost half of all sales. With year-on-year growth of exports reaching 55 % in the last 12 months alone, atg UV Technology has enjoyed substantial growth in the highly competitive American markets, and has seen the development of exciting new trade links with Poland, Turkey, South Africa, Australia and Italy.

DIRECTOR OF THE YEAR AWARD 2006

Chris Purslow, managing director of atg UV Technology was presented with the North West International Director of the Year Award.

"To win the International Director of the Year award is magnificent, and is a real credit to what we are trying to achieve here at atg UV. It has taken a lot of hard work to establish atg UV Technology as a world market leader.  

The level of exporting achievement, combined with atg's commitment to their clear business philosophy and mission statement: "determined to succeed together" creating a win-win ethos for customers, employees and suppliers played an important part in seeing atg UV director Chris Purslow win the award.
